The plantation-raised, kiln-dried rubberwood used in this design is very dense and the hand-rubbed finish yields a piece that is both sturdy and ultra smooth to the touch. Rubberwood is an eco-friendly alternative to conventional hardwoods that still maintains resistance to shrinking, warping, and cracking; as well as having a scratch resistance and hardness similar to more conventional hardwoods. This beautiful textured black full size bed has a headboard and footboard with a canopy that are decorated with a nice tubular steel spray pattern. From the corners the rails flow to the bottom rail in a unique design that is crossed with another arch in the middle. Constructed of heavy gauge steel tubing this bed measures 54.5 inches high at the headboard, 34 inches high at the footboard and has an 81 inch canopy.
